LASSITER HIGH SCHOOL FENCING

Stephen has been involved in fencing since high school, where he fenced with the New Orleans Fencing Club as a foil and epee fencer. He currently fences epee with Premier Fencing Alliance and competes in both fencing tournaments and modern pentathlon tournaments, which incorporate fencing, swimming, horseback riding, running, and shooting.

Assistant Coach:  Ross Merritt

​

Ross has been fencing for six years and earned his D rank in 2020. He is a Lassiter High School alumni and was co-captain of the Lassiter fencing team during the 2020-21 season. He fences regularly at Premier Fencing Alliance and continues to enjoy competing in local and regional fencing tournaments. Ross is also an Eagle Scout and a student at Chattahoochee Technical College.
