Lassiter Fencing Club

2019-2020 Fencing Team.jpg
The purpose of the club is to give students at Lassiter High School the opportunity to learn the sport of fencing. All levels of fencers are accepted, from beginner to well experienced. In Georgia high schools, fencing is a club activity rather than a sanctioned sport, and the only weapon used is the Epee.

Practice begins at the start of the fall semester and continues through the February break. Tournaments run from September until February, and average one or two per month.

The Lassiter High School Fencing club has been competing in the Georgia High School Fencing League since the 2007-08 season.

Lassiter fencers have won individual championships, and compete at the team level for the Team championship.
